Not Much Here...
Sound here is about a 3/5. Muddy at spots.
AC2B - There's a little too much Barber wanking in the first jam for my tastes. The 2nd jam is decent. Nothing to write home about, but it's a decent uptempo jam. There are many, many better AC2B 2nd jams.
Kitchen Mitts - Jamless. Nothing more to say.
Reactor - I like this Reactor. It's not the greatest you'll ever hear, but it's that dark, driving, "I'm gonna kill your children right in front of you" sound that the Biscuits do so well. Pretty good throughout. The ending is a little botche d by Barber.
Humu > IRW - So this time it's Brownstein screwing up the lyrics to HIS OWN song. He acknowledges it, "It's almost the end of tour, let me try that again." The Humu jam starts out with the nice island feel and then turns into dance party central. The band is pretty locked in here, and though again, there's nothing that's mindblowing good, it's a pretty solid jam. Brownstein has a few groovy basslines in this. And of course IRW is jamless.
2 stars. The Humu was pretty good, as were the Reactor and the 2nd AC2B jams. However, none of them were jams that I'm going to be re-listening to over and over (probably not again for a while, actually), and the sound is average. There are far better shows in Spring 03.
